This right here is flavor happiness. I love the smell and taste of lemons. I love the smell and taste of rosemary. Put the two together, and I want to put this little mixture on just about every food in my kitchen. And I do.

Herb salts are simple to make and a wonderful way to punch up the flavor of any dish without the use of unhealthy additives. My very favorite thing I use this salt on is crispy roasted sweet potatoes. Ah-mazing. Best sweet potatoes ever.

Rosemary Lemon Sea Salt

Rosemary, fresh or dried
2-3 lemons, zested
Sea salt

Chop rosemary into smaller pieces. Combine rosemary, lemon zest and sea salt. Spread salt mixture on a cookie sheet and allow several days to dry while enjoying the delicious scent in your kitchen. Once dry, place in an airtight container and enjoy this flavorful addition to your spice cabinet.
